Products I use 

Cuisinart 1.5 quart

I use a Cuisinart 1.5 quart.    The bowl is stored in the freezer so make sure you have space.  Purchase an extra freezer bowl if you plan to make it more than once a day 


Ice cream base 

There are a number of ice cream bases, I use one based off of the Salt & Straw base that uses xanthan gum instead of eggs.

1 3/4 cup milk 

1 3/4 cup heavy cream 

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 tsp xanthan gum

Heat the milk until warm. Combine the xanthan gum into the sugar and slowly whisk the mixture into the milk. Add the cream. Refrigerate. The gum may separate a bit and form a goopy foam, just whisk it up again.
